Keith J. Stephens

 

 Effective August of 2021 Keith Stephens takes the reins as District Athletic Director of the Summit Academy Schools. He comes to us after serving as the District Athletic Director and in many other capacities at the Ecorse Public Schools.  Keith is a native Detroiter, and was a three sport athlete at Southwestern High School in Detroit, Mi.  He then was a Letterman at Michigan State University where he was a part of two Final Fours and a Big Ten Championship with the Men’s Basketball Program.  His experience there as a Student Manager and Graduate Asst. sparked his love for coaching as well as Sports Administration. Coupled with his love for education and sport, Keith is also passionate about people and community as he is an ordained minister and has helped found churches as well as campus ministries across the state of Michigan.  Keith’s family consists of his wife Rosalind, as well as four daughters, Eliana, Victoria, Harmony and Brooke.
